Every three months, I tend to delete my social media accounts. Not deactivate, but just delete the apps on my phone so I don’t have easy access to consume them. It is something that has become a sort of cleansing detox for me. I know how insane it sounds, considering social media is what our generation runs off of, but it is also so damaging especially to your mental health.

The first reason is because I noticed how much of a toll it can take on my mental health when I dive too deep.

It is so easily to get consumed in other peoples lives or even their thoughts, so when I notice I am starting to compare or be more proactive in other peoples existence than my own, I automatically delete my socials.
